Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 was able to handle Doom and Quantum Break too really intense new games at 60 frames per second, no problem. GTX 1080 also built with virtual reality in mind. Nvidia’s new simultaneous multi production technology makes it far more efficient rendering VR scenes as well as gaming with the triple monitors setup. Hence, it ensures rendering VR scenes only once. Whereas other cards have to render them twice for the two displays in VR headset.
